Constructed from durable 4 mil polyethylene, Probe Valet helps contain the soiled ultrasound probe during transport and reduces the potential for contaminants to come into contact with healthcare personnel or the surrounding environment. Once the probe is placed inside and secured, Probe Valet provides a dedicated transport method for moving contaminated probes through the healthcare facility.
Probe Valet features two distinctive compartments designed to manage the complete ultrasound probe. One compartment holds the power pack and cabling, while the other holds the insertion or scan portion of the probe. This separation helps maintain the distinction between components requiring low-level disinfection (LLD) and those requiring high-level disinfection (HLD) during transport.
